Our Directors
Fusion Credit Union is run by a number of volunteer directors and committee members. Here are the directors:
| President | Peter Selwyn |
Peter is married with 2 children and lives in Lichfield. He has been an active volunteer of Fusion Credit Union since 2003. Initially working as part of the Development Committee, Peter went on to become one of the founder Directors. Prior to being elected President of Fusion, Peter also served as Treasurer. Peter is a business consultant, specialising in systems for financial services institutions. |
| Vice President | Valerie Wale | Valerie lives with her partner in Hednesford. She was part of the original steering group and has covered several roles as a Director. She was previously an Area Manager for a cleaning company travelling all over the Midlands and then as a Financial Advisor with the Prudential. Valerie now runs her own cleaning business in and around the Lichfield district. |
| Treasurer | Janet Bamber | Janet is married with 2 children and lives in Lichfield. She was part of the original steering group, which set up Fusion Credit Union. Janet retired from the Derbyshire Building Society in 2006 after 21 years service; the last 8 years as Branch Manager. Janet previously worked for Barclays Bank in Birmingham and Lichfield for 12 years. Janet is also a Trustee on the Board of South Derbyshire Citizens Advice Bureau. |
| Secretary | Alison Readman | Alison lives in Lichfield and studied French and Spanish at Oxford University (St Hugh’s College) then qualified as a solicitor in 1987. She worked as a solicitor specialising in commercial litigation before retraining as a company secretary in 2004. She has been an associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators since August 2010. |
| Director | Robin Taylor | Robin lives in Lichfield and is Fusion’s Training Co-ordinator. |
| Director | Tim Warner | Tim is married and lives in Lichfield. Tim heads up the Fusion Credit Committee. A regular attendee at the Jigsaw collection point, Tim has been a volunteer for a number of years. Tim was previously employed by Tarmac as a Regional Production Manager, responsible for 7 factories in the Midlands area. |
| Director | Jackie Whittenbury | Jackie is married with 1 son and lives in Lichfield. Jackie has been a volunteer with Fusion for 2 yrs. Her main role is that of Volunteer Coordinator. She has also been involved with the Schools Project. Jackie previously worked for a Credit Union in Yorkshire & has many years experience as both a volunteer and paid worker in the voluntary and statutory sectors. |
