Are my savings safe in the new Credit Union?

What is my new membership number?

                  Add 40,000 to your old Fusion membership number.

How do I download and use the Citysave app?

How can I apply for a loan, access my savings, set up a standing order, find my balance of savings?

Note- you will have to advise Citysave by telephone of your nominated bank account on your first transaction.

What are the office hours of Citysave?

Monday: 9.00am – 4.00pm

Tuesday: 9.00am – 4.00pm

Wednesday: 9am – 4.00pm

Thursday: 10.00am – 4.00pm

Friday: 9.00am – 4.00pm

(Closed on Public holidays)

Will there still be an office at Curborough Community Centre?

The old Fusion office will be manned for enquires, details of savings and loans      products and how to communicate with Citysave.

I wish to withdraw my savings. How will I be paid?

Citysave offer same day faster payments to a bank in your name only. Any previous arrangement that was in place will be rescinded once the merger is complete. 

You can now open a basic bank account in your own name and we encourage members to take this opportunity to do so.

I have forgotten my Fusion Membership number?

Please contact Curborough office. If you are telephoning Citysave they will be able to identify you by your surname, date of birth and address.

How big is Citysave Credit union?

Citysave have assets in excess £10 Million and over 7,000 members. They now serve the community across Birmingham, Warwickshire and South Staffordshire. They have numerous business, educational and charity partners across the region –Citysave partners.

Can I pay cash into my new account?

Citysave does not accept cash.

Can I visit the Citysave offices?

 Unfortunately, no. You can only contact them by the methods stated above.

What happens to repayments on my existing loan with Fusion?

The loan will now be part of your new Citysave account.  Repayments by standing order, bank transfer or through DWP payments will continue as present.

Do I have to change any standing order details for the new account?

 No, details will be mapped across by our banks.

Will I be able to attend the Annual General Meeting of the combined credit union?

As a member you can attend and vote at the AGM. You are also able to submit questions to the Board and Officers of Citysave.

Will Citysave pay dividends on my savings?

The new Credit Union will declare a dividend at the AGM in the same manner as Fusion does currently. The value of the dividend is dependent upon the performance of the Credit Union.

How will the enlarged credit union be regulated?

All Credit Unions in the UK are Authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority FRN: 213258
